Down the TBR Hole #6 – February 22, 2018
It’s time for another week of the Down the TBR Hole challenge from Lost in a Story. I’ve missed a few weeks due to illness (the flu this year is no joke, people!), so let’s try to get back in the swing of things!
Here’s the basics:
- Go to your goodreads to-read shelf.
- Order on ascending date added.
- Take the first 5 (or 10 if you’re feeling adventurous) books
- Read the synopses of the books
- Decide: keep it or should it go?
What fun things will we find this week?
The Books
Legend – Marie Lu
Another dystopian YA? Yes, please! What is it about teens in peril that I like so much? No idea, but keep ’em coming!
Verdict: KEEP
The Heartstone Thief – Pippa DaCosta
I’ve seen this recommended a ton for fans of grimdark fantasy, and I have a special place in my heart for ones written by women. No brainer.
Verdict: KEEP
The Last Wish – Andrzej Sapkowski
I have heard all sorts of good things about these books. Not sure it’s going to be my jam, but figured it’s worth a try since I know my library carries at least the first one.
Verdict: KEEP
City of Stairs – Robert Jackson Bennett
I checked this out of the library back when it first was published, but couldn’t get into it at the time before I had to take it back. I’d like to try at least one more time.
Verdict: KEEP
The Traitor Baru Cormorant – Seth Dickinson
Political intrigue and fierce female characters? Yeaaaaah, this is staying on the list.
Verdict: KEEP

Not a good week for thinning out the TBR!
What do you think of my decisions?
