Monthly Wrap-Up: October 2021

monthly-2021-10Apparently posting the previous month’s wrap-up halfway through the month is a thing with me now. All I can say is that we’re hitting fall crunch time. Between Halloween, our anniversary, Thanksgiving, two kid birthdays and all the winter holidays? Everything from October til January is a bit rushed. I’ve also been using having the house (mostly) to myself during the day to get some cleaning done while the kids are gone. My husband’s still working from home most of the time, but since he stays in his office cave, it’s almost like being home alone again! My little introvert self is happy, but I’m also trying to catch up on a lot of belated decluttering that I should’ve done, uh, last year. I’ve been so tired at the end of the day that not a lot of reading is getting done.

Due to the Halloween craziness, I just missed fully completing the Cannonball Bingo, though I did get most of the squares marked off! There’s another fall bingo that I have barely even glanced at, but I am hoping to do one for December. For Goodreads, at the start of the month I was at 242 books out of my goal of 250 books. It’s looking like I’ll meet my goal this month!

PLANNED FOR NOVEMBER

Look, it’s already halfway through the month. I’m still behind on ARCs, so mostly I’m just hoping to catch up a bit before the end of the year so I can do some more holiday reading!

That’s my month! What’s yours looking like?
