Monthly Wrap-up: September 2020

monthly wrap-up

What an absolute great month for books this has been! Between new releases and some older YA scifi, almost everything this month was at least a 4 star read. I read my first audiobook ever, and boy did I go for a doozy, the 30+ hour To Sleep in a Sea of Stars. It was a great experience, though, and I’ve already borrowed another audiobook from my library. I think my main reading will still be mostly ebooks (so portable, especially with kid activities starting up again this month) but I loved the experience!

For the Goodreads Challenge, I’ve read 187 out of 220 books for the year. That’s 22 books ahead of schedule, according to Goodreads, so the rest of this year sucks, but at least I’m reading!

PLANNED FOR OCTOBER

MachineBlack SunThe Midnight BargainThe Cup and the PrinceThe Sacrifice of DarknessSeven of Infinities

October’s a little slower than September, but not by much. Not a lot of romance, actually, but lots of fantasy/sci fi, which is what I’ve been gravitating to a lot lately.

That’s my month! What’s yours looking like?
